Brussels Airlines has opened The Loft lounge at Brussels Airport, a new business lounge centred around comfort, technology, design and Belgian gastronomy.
The Loft is the new lounge for Business Class guests and frequent flyers, who depart from the Brussels Airport A Pier.
The Loft is four times the size of the previous lounge and can host 300 travellers. At 1240 square meters, it is made up of eight different hubs, each with their own function.
The design of the lounge is top notch, with architectural firm DesignIt going for a Scandinavian minimalist design with white surfaces, light walls and clean lines dominating the decor.
There are elegant hardwood floors, and designer light fixtures.
At the back of the lounge on the right hand side is a more relaxed area with a more intimate and subdued atmosphere, with carpets, a bit of colour and elegant Belgian furniture.
There is a central buffet with a range of Belgian and international food, including salads, quiches, waffles, and a variety of desserts. Breakfast has just freshly baked pastries.
There is also a circular bar island, which features a selection of Belgian beers on tap (the bar is in partnership with Beer Company AB Inbev) and also has some wines and Champagne.
Located at Brussels airport Terminal A within the Schengen zone, the Loft serves Star Alliance Gold as well as oneworld carriers such as Iberia and Finnair.
