New Star Alliance Amsterdam Lounge

Star Alliance passengers flying from Amsterdam can look forward to a new lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It will be used by Aegean, Austrian, Lufthansa, SAS, Swiss and TAP Air Portugal.

SAS Scandinavian Airlines has opened a new lounge at Oslo airport.

New York SAS lounge Newark opens

SAS Scandinavian Airlines has opened a newly renovated lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport. Stretching over an area of 440 square metres, there is a wide selection of US and European magazines, a secluded guest work space, more power sockets and more charging stations as well as free WiFi, check-in and reservations assistance.

SAS launch new Business Class

The new Business Class seats itself has a 23 inch width, and extends to a 79 inch lie-flat bed. There is a 15 inch HD TV monitor. SAS are also launching their new Premium Economy seat, with 38 inch pitch and a 12 inch TV monitor, and SAS GO economy class.

SAS axe Seattle, Icelandair take over

Scandinavian Airlines has axed its service between Seattle and Copenhagen. This comes after 42 years flying the nonstop route.
