New Delta A330-900 Business Class Seat
With four aircraft in the fleet, Delta Air Lines is now regularly flying the new Airbus A330-900neo on long haul international routes, including Seattle to Shanghai, Seoul and this week to Tokyo, replacing older Boeing 767-300ERs. There are 33 new aircraft on order, and today Delta has announce it will take another two Airbus A330-900neo aircraft set for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The A330-900neo has a seat that Delta are using on the A350 and 777 fleet, with a Delta One suite designed by Factory Design, but with a slightly larger shelf beside the seat and more stowage.
There's storage space beside the footwell that's big enough to hold the Westin Heavenly bedding. Another space beside the light for headphones and water bottles, and a third just beneath the slide-out tray table.
There is a full-height door at every suite, for enhanced privacy and comfort. This is the first time a door has been fitted to a seat on the Airbus A330. Each suite features a fully flat-bed seat with direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 layout.
The IFE system includes a large high resolution 18.5 inch TV system, and an in flight entertainment system with more content than n the A350. There are noise reducing headphones, and in flight wifi, as is normal these days.
