Emirates Airlines has the dubious distinction of the being the first airline to pull the new A380 from a route.

It will pull it's two A380 superjumbos currently plying the Dubai-New York route, and replace them with much smaller 777 aircraft.

The A380 removed will be used to commence A380 services to Toronto and Bangkok from the start of June, making it the first carrier to fly the superjumbo to Thailand.
