Delta Air Lines has opened a brand new arrivals lounge at London's Heathrow Airport Terminal 3.
The Delta arrivals lounge Heathrow is designed for passengers arriving from long-haul flights from the United States in the early hours of the morning, and as such it mainly a breakfast and shower facility.
There are eleven showers with Malin+Goetz amenities, and the usual door-within-a-door so you can hang your suit in the door when having a shower, which is returned steamed pressed within 10 minutes, and also includes a shoe shine.
There is a small breakfast area, with four tables opposite a buffet, which has a hot made to order breakfast service, with a full English breakfast, plus pastries, yoghurt, and cereal. There is also fresh fruit, juice, and Starbucks coffee.
A small business centre and free wifi complete the lounge.
The London Delta Arrivals lounge is open daily from 6am to 2pm. Delta fly to London Heathrow since moving from London Gatwick, and fly daily from Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, and Seattle, however Delta's Detroit and Minneapolis flights still arrive at Terminal 4, which can involve a 45 minute hike across the airport.
Last month, Delta announced it will begin flying non-stop between Philadelphia and Heathrow in April 2015, alongside its new flights from Seattle and Los Angeles to Heathrow.
